Authentic Uno gameplay

Uno Online adheres to classic rules, ensuring a familiar and enjoyable experience. The game uses two types of cards: regular cards and function cards.

Regular cards

Regular cards are numbered from 1 to 9 and come in four colors: yellow, red, blue, and green. Each color has a set of nine cards, for a total of 36 regular cards.

Function card

  • Skip card: Prevents the next player from taking their turn.
  • Reversed card: Change the direction of play.
  • Draw Two Cards: Forces the next player to draw two more cards.
  • Draw Four Cards: Forces the next player to draw four more cards and also change the color of the round.
  • Color change card: Change the circle's color to your desired color.

Play rules

The goal of Uno Online is to be the first player to get rid of all of your cards. Match cards of the same color or number, and if you don't have a matching card, draw a new card from your inventory. You lose your turn for that round if the drawn card is also unplayable. Function cards must be used strategically according to their specific rules.

When only two cards are left, don't forget to press the "Uno" button to notify your opponent. If you do not do so, you will have two additional cards added to your hand. The first player to get rid of all his cards wins the match.

Strategic tips for success

  • Block your opponent's moves: Use function cards like Skip and Reverse to hinder your opponent's progress.
  • Increase your opponent's card count: Use Draw Two and Draw Four cards to burden your opponent with additional cards.
  • Plan your moves: Plan your moves strategically to switch to favorable colors and use function cards effectively.
